Vision & Mission

HALUAN is the acronym for Pertubuhan Himpunan Lepasan Institusi Pendidikan Malaysia (Organization of Graduates of Educational Institutions, Malaysia).

It is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) established in 1988.

We have now grown with 14 national branches. There are also offices in Cambodia, Egypt, Jordan and United Kingdom, mainly to support programs for Malaysian students and expatriates.

Our international educational programs, charity and relief missions has taken us to 20 countries as far as Turkey and China, thanks to our ever expanding local and international partnerships.

HALUAN forbearers of social change.

Tarbiah (broad and balanced education) that nurtures leaders and dakwah that transforms the society.

Akhlaq, Educate & Serve.

And let there be (arising) from you a group of people inviting to (all that is) good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, and those will be the successful. (Quran Ali ‘Imran (3) : 104)
