Dadaab, East Kenya, Sept 8 - A mother of five at a tender age of 19, Hawo Husein would have been hauled to court if she was a Malaysian. She could have been married off at 14 or even younger.
It has been five days that she arrived in Dadaab from a village called Sagale in Middle Juba, Somalia. Her father in Somalia allowed her to leave for Kenya with her baby, using up his savings of USD100 for her to find her way by road. She was darting between hide points and was lucky that she and her entourage were not mugged, looted or raped along the journey of 20 days.
